Christmas Stollen

A German Christmas specialty, Stollen is a rich, sweet, yeast-risen bread loaded with dried fruit and sliced almonds.
Once baked, while still hot, Stollen is bathed in clarified butter and rolled in sugar locking in the moisture and extending the shelf life by weeks.
Traditionally, Stollen is served in thin slices with breakfast or afternoon tea.

Stollen can be stored wrapped in your refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
