Pickup Tips
- Last day to place an order for the week of Christmas is Monday, December 20th.
- Plan ahead! We highly recommend placing your order as soon as possible as items tend to sell out the closer we get to holidays.
- Many of our items can be picked up one or two days before and still maintain their quality for the holiday. To minimize the stress of picking up same day, consider picking up your order a day or two in advance and avoiding the lines. *See General Handling Recommendations for more information on the shelf life of our products.
- Wait time – Although we can not predict exactly how long you will be waiting, we anticipate longer than average wait times. Please give yourself additional time while shopping and picking up during the holiday season.
ChowNow Availability:
Chownow will be available for same day (not future) purchases and delivery through Wednesday, December 22nd. Chownow and phone holds will not be available Thursday, December 23rd and Friday, December 24th.
General Handling Recommendations
Refrigerate all of our cakes and pastries immediately to ensure quality and freshness. Dispose of any cake or pastry that was held at room temperature (68°F+) for 2+ hours (except Buttercream Cakes).
Buttercream Cakes & Yule logs
Remove Buttercream Cakes from the refrigerator and keep cake at room temperature (68°F-70°F) for at least 2-4 hours before serving. Buttercream Cakes taste best when eaten at room temperature. Refrigerate all leftovers & eat within 3 days.
Mousee, Whipped Cream OR Custard Items
Keep this type of cake or pastry refrigerated until serving. This type of cake is best eaten cold. Refrigerate all leftovers & eat within 2 days.
Pies, Pound Cakes (Kugelhopf), Quiche, and Baked Tarts
Keep refrigerated for up to 4 days. May be frozen for up to 14 days. Defrost in the fridge or counter top. Flash Quiches in the oven at approx. 400°F degrees until the center is warm to the touch.
Breakfast Items and Breads
These items are best enjoyed the same day. If need be, you may freeze them for 7 days. Thaw on the counter top and reheat in the oven at about 400°F degrees for approx. 30 seconds – 2 minutes.
Transportation
When transporting cakes and pastries extended distances, we suggest packing our refrigerated items in a cooler with ice and wrapping the boxes in plastic to protect against moisture. We offer insulated tote bags & moisture resistant ice packs for purchase as well. Please ensure your products are held level at all times. Cakes and pastries are safest when kept flat on top of rubber mats in an air conditioned trunk or on the floor of your car. Do not place on the seat of your car.
Allergens
Though some products may not contain nuts or flour as an ingredient, it may have been produced in the same area that allergens were processed, therefore we can not guarantee any item is completely allergen free.
