Do you encourage tipping employees?
Yes. Although we pay our employees a full wage in lieu of tipping, if you find that the associate deserves an extra thank you beyond the spoken word, we encourage you to tip them directly in cash. The convenience of tipping on a credit card incurs credit card processing fees in addition to taxes on the business as it comes in and taxes a 2nd time once it reaches the associate’s paycheck. If you find yourself out of cash and the recipient of excellent service, don’t underestimate the power of a sincere thank you.
