Sometimes event dates are already completely sold out so to avoid any disappointment, first check with us to confirm your wedding date is still available. Secondly, if you want us to deliver the cake, be sure your site is within our delivery area, and that your preferred time range is still open. With your desired date and time range available, you will want to come in for a cake consultation.

Cake consultation hours are available each day until one hour before the store closes. No appointment are necessary for cake consultations but cake samples do need to be reserved in advance. We make our cake samples to order based on your favorite selections. To help save you time, we recommend placing an order for cake samples to be ready at the same time as your initial cake consultation. Then, when your are looking through our photo album and discussing your ideas, you will be able to taste our cake.

This type of cake is best eaten at room temperature. The cake can stay in an air conditioned room for up to 7 hours, but must be kept out of sun light and spot lights. All of our buttercream cakes are layered. Each tier is filled with six layers of cake and five layers of buttercream or chocolate ganache and are iced in buttercream or covered with fondant. Prices are primarily based on the style of presentation chosen and then multiplied by the closest amount of servings needed (some filling or adding liquors add an additional charge). Some details to your cake order have additional charges, such as monograms, coloring of icings, special trims, etc. We only decorate our cakes with icing flowers or with fruit. Your florist would need to arrange and decorate the cake if you want fresh flowers. Decorating the top of the cake with icing bows or icing flowers has an additional charge.

Choices for the outside presentation of your wedding cake: We decorate most of our cakes with vanilla buttercream or with fondant. The outside presentation can usually be done with icing, but some presentations require that we use fondant.
| Buttercream presentations (a slightly off-white color) can also be tinted another color (for an additional charge), but remember that because vanilla buttercream is not pure white, we cannot achieve certain colors. Decorator icing, mocha (a beige color), or dark chocolate (a brown color) buttercreams can also be chosen for the outside of wedding cakes or groom's cakes. | Fondant presentations can be pure white or tinted another color (for an additional charge). Fondant icing provides a very smooth surface to decorate. This is the best type of icing for cakes that are to be displayed indoors for long periods of time or for outdoor weddings as long as the cake is kept reasonably cool and away from direct sunlight and heat. If you would like to taste the fondant icing, you can order fondant to be put on top of your samples. |

Please note that we do not provide fresh flowers. Your florist will need to assist you for your fresh flower arrangements or table greenery. Our buttercream is make with butter so it is not a true white color, but slightly off-white. If you would like the outside of your cake to be white, we must use rolled fondant as the outside icing. There is an additional charge to tint fondant or buttercream to another color. When we color icings please remember that we are limited in using only food colors. We try our best to achieve as close as possible your color selection. Some colors are subject to fading, running, or of being too bright.

Listed to the right are the suggested ways for presentation of cake tiers. Please ask about larger cake sizes and servings. 4 tiers is the largest cake we will stack. A 14" cake is the largest base cake that can be used in a 4 tier direct stack.
We include all tiers in our suggested servings amount. Please order a slightly bigger cake to replace the servings if you plan on saving the top tier.

Gaining quickly in popularity are our creamy, chocolate mousse wedding cakes. Each tier of this type of cake has 3 layers of cake and 2 layers of mousse filling. This type of wedding cake is for couples who want to treat their guests to an extraordinary chocolate dessert with a contemporary presentation. Decorations for this type of cake can be either white or dark chocolate shavings, chocolate ribbons, or thin chocolate squares. Many brides often have their florist decorate this type of cake with fresh flowers.
Mousse cakes are more fragile and delicate, so they must be kept refrigerated, and only be taken out of the refrigerator one hour before serving for display in a cool air conditioned room. This type of cake should not be displayed in a warm room or for a long period of time. We do not recommend this type of wedding cake during the hot summer months, or for it ever to be served outside.

Once you have made your decision, we recommend placing your cake order as soon as possible to insure availability. Note that a minimum notice for placing an order is one month. To hold your date and time, we require a 20% deposit on your order. Any changes or adjustments to he order along with final payment need to be made at least 14 days prior to the event date. We are sorry, but NO changes and NO refunds will be made if you need to cancel within those last two weeks.

Standard wedding cake delivery is during regular store hours. Wedding cake delivery charges are based on distance. Any delivery needed after store hours (this means between 5:00 - 7:00pm on Saturdays and 1:00 - 4:00pm on Sundays) will add an additional charge of $20. All deliveries are subject to available times and dates. To insure the best time of delivery that you will need, please place your order as soon as possible. We recommend that you verify that we are able to deliver to your location and the availability of your wedding date when ordering samples as some dates are very popular and sell out quickly.
